¿Cuál es la mejor plataforma para hacer videoconferencias?

Estamos viviendo tiempos en los que la importancia de saber reinventar nuestro negocio es muy importante. A través de las videollamadas podemos seguir trabajando, ya que nos permiten tener una comunicación cercana, directa, ver las reacciones de nuestros interlocutores, evitamos pérdidas de tiempo y de esta manera, ahorrarnos costes.

Plataformas para videollamadas de calidad

1. Skype

Es quizás la más conocida. Solo tienes que registrarte, iniciar sesión y empezar a buscar a otras personas con el nombre que tengan en Skype. Totalmente gratuita.

También existe una versión de pago para empresas. Se llama Skype por Business y te permite realizar reuniones de hasta 250 personas, con calidad y seguridad. Su coste es bajo, de 1’70 al mes.

Skype también te permite hacer videollamadas sin registrarte. Te generará un código que podrás enviar a las personas con las que quieras contactar, dura 24h.

2. Hangouts Meet de Google

Es la aplicación de Google para realizar videoconferencias. Solo tienes que descargarla en tus dispositivos móviles, igual que las demás plataformas, con la excepción que desde el ordenador no hace falta descargarse nada, puedes acceder directamente a ella.

Permite videollamadas grupales gratis de hasta 30 personas simultáneamente. Puedes programar las videoconferencias y solamente tendrás que mandar el enlace de la reunión a aquellas personas con las que quieras hablar.

Solamente deberás tener una cuenta de Gmail para iniciar la videoconferencia online. Puedes compartir documentos, y tu propia pantalla.

3. Zoom

Es seguramente la plataforma que más satisfechos deja a los trabajadores y estudiantes en casa.

Tiene un enfoque más empresarial, te permite contactar con grandes grupos de trabajo, hasta 100 participantes por sesión en la versión gratuita. Deja grabar totalmente gratis la videollamada, por si alguien se lo ha perdido, transcribe el audio automáticamente y te permite cambiar el fondo de la sesión. La única pega es que tiene un tiempo límite de 40 minutos, traspasado el límite te tienes que volver a meter en la sesión.

Tiene las herramientas de compartir pantalla y aplicaciones, también cuenta con una pantalla virtual, en la que puedes ir escribiendo o dibujando tus explicaciones y los demás participantes podrán unirse también.

Es necesario descargarse la aplicación de Zoom para iniciar las videollamadas, pero para las personas que quieran unirse a ella, solamente es necesario un ID y contraseña que genera automáticamente la sesión.

El anfitrión también puede silenciar los micrófonos de los participantes, en otras plataformas como Hangouts se tienen que silenciar ellos mismos.

Los integrantes también pueden controlar aspectos como “levantar la mano” para pedir la palabra, mostrar reacciones con iconos…

La vista en la videollamada tiene dos modos, una con forma de galería en la que a través de pequeñas ventanas se pueden ver a la vez todos los participantes y otra forma en la que por el altavoz, se reconoce a quien está hablando en ese momento y te lo muestra en grande, haciendo más pequeños a los demás participantes.
